The pre-day of WISSA 2022 is over. We call it day 0 because no official races but just a lot of training on the Lake Maardu.
The truth is, we were quite worried about how many participants will really come. Usually, the payments have done in advance and it gives a quite good overview but this year only around half of the signed up people paid earlier, making also planning a bit complicated.
However, we ended up with more than 80 participants getting their number BIBs today and it’s like, WOW! And we know some will come just tomorrow morning. Meaning – we can say it’s a decent WISSA event, despite the situation. Many thanks to all the participants for showing up!
The exact number of races will be known tomorrow but we know there are people from 11 countries.
The plan for tomorrow is to have Freestyle for kites as there is still some snow at the lake. Sleds and wings will have a course race.
See you in the ice!
